The Tampa Drug Rehab Directory is run by a group of individuals working to help people find the right addiction care. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.
This directory does not charge facilities to be listed, and no facility can pay to be ranked higher, featured, or included. Every facility is scored by the same published trust-score methodology using publicly verifiable signals: state licensure context, SAMHSA listing, Joint Commission/JCAHO and CARF accreditation, LegitScript certification, NAATP membership, and Google review quality. If a facility's position changes, it is because the underlying public data changed - never because money did.
We use AI-assisted crawlers to continuously monitor public sources - Google Business Profiles, facility websites, accreditation registries, and state licensure records - for new or changed information about treatment centers in the Tampa Bay region. AI finds the changes; it does not publish them. Every update surfaced by our crawlers is reviewed by a human editor before it appears on this site.
Every factual claim in our articles and listings passes three checks before publication:
When we cannot verify something - an accreditation, an insurance network, a treatment type - we leave it blank. Blank is better than wrong.
If you see something wrong on this site - an outdated phone number, a closed facility, a rating that doesn't match, a claim that isn't true - let us know and we will review and update it immediately. Facility owners and staff can request corrections or removal the same way; we verify requests against public sources and act on them promptly. Accuracy matters more here than almost anywhere: people use this information to make care decisions.
