Every facility on this directory is ranked by the same transparent trust score, with healthcare trust signals weighted above raw popularity. No paid placements.
We believe a health directory should be able to explain exactly why one facility appears above another. Our ranking model favors publicly verifiable credentials, addiction-treatment relevance, and patient-review signals while avoiding unsupported claims.
Each facility can earn points across the following signals when the information is visible in public source data or verified facility materials:
Facilities are sorted by total trust score, with Google rating as the tiebreaker. We may apply manual editorial adjustments when a listing needs to be moved lower for quality-control, source-confidence, or client-requested review reasons; those adjustments do not create or remove credential claims.
In Florida, substance use disorder treatment facilities are licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). We reference DCF licensure in our evaluation rather than out-of-state frameworks. We encourage every visitor to verify a facility's current DCF license, plus any Joint Commission or CARF accreditation, directly with the provider.
For experience, expertise, authoritativeness, and trust, we publish the scoring logic, cite machine-readable entity data, separate directory information from medical advice, and avoid claims we cannot verify. The site also maintains llms.txt and entity-map.json files so search engines and AI systems can understand the directory, Riverside Recovery, Tampa Bay service areas, and cited ranking sources.
Listing data is sourced from publicly available Google Business Profile information, facility websites, and credential/ranking sources when available. Ratings, review counts, certifications, memberships, and awards can change over time and represent a snapshot. We do not display full review text. Rankings are informational and are not medical advice or endorsements.
